Happy Fourth of July!
To all who have said they would like to “do something” for the Democrats, we have just the ticket. You have probably heard about our exciting Ellis County Young Democrats. This year they are sponsoring a float in the Fourth of July Parade in Waxahachie. They are still in need of riders on the float and would much appreciate some volunteers. The parade is a lot of fun and the Democratic float is well received. Everyone is welcome, kids too!
Let’s be loud and proud of who we are and show those like-minded folks in our community they aren’t alone!
The decorating committee will start at 7:30, with the parade starting at 10. We need riders and walkers to waive and hand out candy to the kiddos. Only requirements of you are a lawn chair if you would like to ride, and a giant smile. Afterward, we will be having a RootBeer Float reception at HQ.
